Its depth-loading microfine glass media ensures long service life, stable pressure drop, and full rated performance under real-world airflow conditions, making it an excellent solution for maintaining clean air in sensitive environments.
  • Reinforced Media Design Prevents Oscillation: The filter’s bonded media backing and tapered radial pleats maintain structural uniformity even under fluctuating airflow. A continuous adhesive seal eliminates air bypass, while the media backing prevents pleat flutter or fiber migration—two common causes of filter performance degradation in high-velocity or cycling HVAC systems.
  • Corrosion-Resistant Frame and Rigid Construction: The Riga-Flo is built with a galvanized steel frame and internal diagonal braces that offer strength and durability in commercial and industrial systems. This robust construction allows the filter to withstand high resistance up to 10” w.g. without failure—ensuring long-term structural integrity and safe installation in high-demand systems.
  • Stabilized for Variable Air Volume Systems: Special plastic contour stabilizers, mounted on both air entry and exit sides, are fastened to the support braces to protect the pleats against turbulence and air pulsation. These contour supports preserve filter geometry and maintain proper airflow, making the Riga-Flo especially well suited for modern VAV systems and energy-optimized HVAC designs.
