SAM MicroSound
By Clean Rooms International
The SAM MicroSound fan filter unit delivers exceptional cleanroom performance with minimal noise, low energy consumption, and precision-tuned airflow. Designed for critical environments, it combines an ultra-quiet motor with easy adjustability and robust construction, making it ideal for cleanrooms where acoustics, efficiency, and reliability matter.
Features
- Quiet, Energy-Efficient Motor: Equipped with the N310 backward-curved impeller motor, the SAM MicroSound provides high airflow with minimal energy use. The motor is permanent split capacitor type, single-phase, and includes thermal overload protection, delivering quiet performance while reducing operational costs and protecting the unit against overheating.
- Precision Airflow Control: The solid-state speed control system with RFI suppression allows users to fine-tune airflow to meet room-specific needs without interrupting cleanroom operations. This feature ensures optimal air changes, accommodates layout changes, and improves filter longevity by minimizing excess strain on the filter media.
- Seismic Suspension & Safety Features: Built for reliability and safety, the unit includes integrated seismic clip suspension points to secure the unit in earthquake-prone environments. A safety switch disables power when the unit is accessed for service, protecting personnel and preserving cleanroom integrity during maintenance operations.
- Reliable HEPA/ULPA Filtration: Standard units are equipped with a 99.99% efficient HEPA filter and a 30% ASHRAE-rated pleated prefilter for extended service life. For enhanced protection, a 99.9995% ULPA filter is available. Filters are tested to IEST or ISO standards and protected by a durable epoxy-coated steel grille.
