The SAM MicroSound ECM delivers advanced control and energy efficiency with a smart electronically commutated motor (ECM) that automatically compensates for filter loading. Designed for quiet operation and flexibility, this unit provides precise airflow regulation and multiple control options, making it ideal for high-performance cleanroom applications.


Features

  • Smart ECM Technology: The electronically commutated motor actively adjusts speed to maintain constant airflow as filter resistance increases. This ensures uniform performance over time, prevents airflow degradation, and minimizes the need for manual adjustments or rebalancing after installation.
  • Versatile On-Board Controller: Integrated with a multi-use controller, the unit supports both local speed adjustment via potentiometer and remote control via MODBUS RTU. This flexibility allows facilities to scale control from individual units to building-wide systems without compromising reliability or ease of use.
  • Energy Efficiency & Quiet Operation: Designed for low power consumption, the forward-curved ECM blower reduces operating costs while maintaining quiet performance. Units are engineered for minimal noise transmission, making them ideal for noise-sensitive areas like compounding pharmacies or medical device cleanrooms.
  • Room-Side Serviceability Options: GS models feature a roomside removable HEPA or ULPA filter with a gel seal for a leak-free fit. NCR models feature a low-profile design with an upstream gasket. Both allow easy filter changes while maintaining cleanroom integrity and minimizing downtime during maintenance.
