Now rated MERV 9, this panel combines a progressive-density design, a powerful Dustlok adhesive, and Spor-Ax antimicrobial treatment to deliver unmatched depth-loading, extended service life, and resistance to mold and mildew. Its self-sealing construction eliminates air bypass, ensuring maximum efficiency and cleaner air.

Features

  • Three-Stage Filtration: Each panel incorporates three distinct filtering stages: a coarse outer layer for trapping large particles, a middle layer with dual-density fibers for enhanced depth-loading, and a downstream adhesive-coated layer that captures fine particles. Together, they provide superior dust retention, promote even loading, and extend filter life—ideal for demanding commercial and industrial HVAC systems.
  • Built-In Antimicrobial: The media is treated during manufacturing with Spor-Ax, an EPA-registered antimicrobial that prevents the growth of mold, mildew, and fungi within the filter. Unlike post-applied treatments, Spor-Ax is embedded into the fibers, ensuring even protection that won’t off-gas or diminish over time—helping maintain air quality and consistent filter performance for longer durations.
  • Self-Sealing Design: Dustlok panels are engineered with an internal 9-gauge wire grid and two cross wires to reinforce the filter and prevent fluttering or sagging. The self-sealing frame design eliminates air bypass, ensuring that all air flows through the filter media. This provides more reliable filtration and reduces the risk of airborne contaminants leaking into HVAC systems.
  • Non-Migrating Adhesive: The Dustlok composite adhesive is securely bonded to the downstream fibers and remains non-drying and non-migratory throughout the filter’s life. Migration testing at 500 fpm showed no adhesive transfer to downstream collection media, confirming its stability. This ensures consistent filtration without contaminating equipment or air downstream of the panel.
