- Dual-Layered Gradient Density Media: The Camfil 30/30 Dual 9’s proprietary media design uses a two-layer structure—white for coarse dust, green for fine particulate—to ensure optimal particle capture across a wide size range. This dual-density system increases overall dust holding capacity up to four times that of standard commercial pleats. By loading the filter more evenly and deeply, it maintains efficiency longer and resists early clogging, resulting in fewer filter changes, longer system life, and cleaner indoor air.
- Industrial-Grade Welded Steel Support: A heavy-duty steel wire backing grid, spot-welded on one-inch centers, reinforces the entire media pack, holding pleats in place through turbulent airflow and variable pressure. This design prevents media flutter, sag, or collapse—issues that lead to premature failure in less robust filters. The steel grid, treated with a corrosion inhibitor, ensures filter performance in the most demanding HVAC environments, including variable air volume systems or areas with frequent system cycling.
- High-Capacity Radial Pleat Construction: The radial pleat geometry exposes the entire surface area of the filter media to incoming air, distributing dust and debris uniformly and increasing effective dust loading. This design minimizes resistance buildup and extends service life, allowing airflow to remain consistent over time. The Camfil 30/30 Dual 9 fits standard 1", 2", and 4" housings, making it an ideal high-performance upgrade for facilities aiming to balance indoor air quality with sustainability and energy goals.
- Moisture-Resistant, Reinforced Frame Design: Built with a thick, 28-point high wet-strength beverage board, the frame resists warping, cracking, and collapse—even under high humidity or direct moisture exposure. Diagonal frame members are permanently bonded to each pleat to hold shape and spacing throughout the filter’s life. The rugged construction minimizes filter bypass and ensures that all air passes through the media, improving filtration efficiency and protecting HVAC components from harmful buildup and corrosion.
