Service Technician/Warehouse Associate
The Service Technician/Warehouse Associate will perform service work, installations, scheduled maintenance, and preventative maintenance on all Filter Sales & Service, Inc. service accounts as well as unloading, stocking, and picking orders in a warehouse environment. This role reports to the Operations Manager.
- Troubleshoot filtration equipment and determine required repairs.
- Perform routine maintenance, including changing air and water filters, replacing UV bulbs, and completing other assigned service tasks.
- Visually inspect installations for leaks, malfunctions, and operational issues.
- Follow all company and customer safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain compliance with company vehicle maintenance policies and procedures.
- Transport tools, equipment, and materials to customer sites as needed.
- Accurately maintain customer and company information in both electronic and written formats.
- Assist warehouse operations during periods of reduced service activity, including order picking, inventory maintenance, shipping, receiving, and other assigned duties.
- Experience in equipment repair and maintenance preferred.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to learn the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of commercial air and liquid filtration systems.
- Clean work history.
- Ability to meet physical job requirements, including bending, squatting, climbing ladders, carrying equipment, and lifting up to 70 pounds.
- Availability to work occasional overtime and early morning or late evening hours as needed.
- Strong technical and mechanical aptitude.
- Familiarity with basic hand and power tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and grow.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Customer Service Representative
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and supporting account-related needs in a timely and professional manner. This role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The CSR serves as a key point of contact between customers, internal teams, and vendors to ensure a positive customer experience.
Customer Service & Account Support
- Enter customer orders and quote requests received via email, phone, and in person into ERP system for processing.
- Provide accurate account information to customers, including account balances, transaction history, order status, shipment tracking, and pricing.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, complaints, and service requests.
- Resolve customer concerns efficiently while maintaining a strong sense of urgency and customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with Territory Managers to build and maintain effective relationships with customers by actively listening to their needs and recommending appropriate products and services.
- Research and identify specialized products within the product line to meet customer requirements.
Administrative & Coordination Duties
- Prepare reports, documentation, and correspondence as needed.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendor contacts to ensure customer orders are processed accurately and remain on schedule.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support workflow, priorities, and service goals.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and prioritize workload effectively.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within teams and committees.
- Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels and from diverse backgrounds.
- PC proficiency with strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and Excel.
