Overview of American Ultraviolet DC Series UVC Fixture

The DC Series is built to provide effective UVC disinfection within supply or return ducts, treating moving air before it reaches occupied spaces. With strong germicidal output, long-lasting lamps, and service-friendly construction, these fixtures help maintain cleaner coils, drain pans, and plenums while supporting reliable air quality improvement in demanding HVAC applications.

High-Output UVC for Airborne Pathogen Reduction

The DC Series uses high-output germicidal lamps to neutralize airborne microorganisms as they travel through the duct system. This fly-by disinfection approach reduces microbial load before air is recirculated, enhancing protection in high-risk or densely populated facilities. It supports cleaner, healthier air with minimal operational impact on existing HVAC performance.

Flexible Mounting for Ducts, Coils, and Pans

Available in two or four lamp configurations, the DC Series can be installed individually or grouped to span large duct sections or multiple components. Positioning options allow targeted irradiation of supply ducts, cooling coils, and drain pans. External access to lamps and electronics simplifies maintenance without requiring duct modification or shutdown.

Long-Life Lamps with Warranty-Backed Performance

Low-pressure lamps contain eight milligrams or less of mercury and maintain stable output over extended service periods, dropping only twenty percent across two years. The fixtures include a two year lamp warranty and a full five year non prorated ballast warranty, ensuring dependable performance and lower maintenance frequency for facility teams.
